A dead man was discovered frozen in the wheel well of an iFly Airbus in Mosco.
Airport maintenance workers in Moscow noticed blood stains on the main landing gear of an iFly Airbus A330-300 that had just flown in from Italy, and found a dead man with a Georgia passport inside the wheel well.
The plane had made seven flights before the remains were discovered.
Autopsy results revealed the man had frozen to death, and an investigation is still underway to discover how the man ended up in the wheel well.
"According to a preliminary conclusion, the Afro-American man died from freezing. The man was apparently flying without a ticket," the Investigative Committee said on its website.
Many are wondering how airport workers could have missed such a thing for seven flights. Some have speculated that landing gear doors are typically closed while on the ground. Others said daily inspections should include opening up the landing gear doors.
